About hemp & CBD
CBD (cannabidiol) and CBG (cannabigerol) are naturally occurring compounds in the hemp plant, known as cannabinoids. They're non-intoxicating, meaning they won't produce a high. CBG is often called the "mother cannabinoid" because other cannabinoids form from it: our CBD+CBG tincture combines the two.
Full-spectrum keeps the plant's complete profile of cannabinoids and terpenes intact, including trace THC that stays below the federal 0.3% limit. Broad-spectrum keeps that wide range but has THC reduced to non-detectable levels. Full-spectrum is often chosen for the entourage effect; broad-spectrum suits anyone who wants to avoid THC entirely.
No. Our tinctures are made from hemp and contain less than 0.3% THC by dry weight, not enough to produce intoxicating effects. CBD and CBG are non-intoxicating by nature, so you should feel like yourself, not impaired.
MCT (medium-chain triglyceride) oil derived from coconut is a clean, neutral carrier that helps your body absorb the extract efficiently. It also gives the tincture a smooth, light mouthfeel without heavy additives.
Using Planntz
Shake the bottle, draw your serving into the dropper, and place it under your tongue. Hold it there for about 30–60 seconds before swallowing, which helps it absorb. Sublingual use tends to work fastest, but you can also add it to a drink.
Taken under the tongue, many people notice effects within roughly 15–45 minutes; added to food it may take longer as it digests. Everyone's body is different, so give it time and stay consistent before judging.
That's personal: some prefer mornings, others wind down with it in the evening. Consistency tends to matter more than timing, so the best routine is one you'll actually keep.
That depends on your serving size and how often you use it. Each bottle lists the total CBD/CBG content and the amount per dropper, so you can divide by your daily serving to estimate. Most people find a bottle lasts several weeks to a month.
Dosing
There's no one-size-fits-all serving: it depends on your body, your goals, and your experience with cannabinoids. A common approach is to start low, stay consistent for a few days, and adjust gradually until you find what feels right. Our labels list the amount per dropper so you can measure precisely.
Many people find a daily routine works best, since cannabinoids are often used as part of a consistent wellness habit. There's no requirement to take it daily, find a rhythm that fits your life and give it time.
If you're new, a lower serving makes it easier to dial in. More experienced users often prefer higher-potency options to take less liquid per dose. When in doubt, start gentle, you can always work up.
Our products & quality
Yes, every single batch. We send each lot to an independent, accredited lab that tests for cannabinoid potency as well as pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbials. If a batch doesn't pass, it doesn't ship.
Each bottle carries a lot number that matches its specific Certificate of Analysis. You can open the COA from the product page or our Lab results page to confirm exactly what's in your batch: cannabinoid content and a clean contaminant panel.
Our formulas are intentionally short: whole-plant hemp extract and organic coconut MCT oil. We don't add unnecessary fillers, dyes, or synthetic ingredients. What's on the label is what's in the bottle.
Keep it in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Check the bottle for its best-by date; properly stored, a tincture stays fresh for a good while. Just give it a shake before each use.
Legal & safety
Our products are made from hemp and contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, in line with the 2018 Farm Bill. State and local laws can differ, so it's worth checking your area's rules. We ship only where these products are permitted.
Possibly. Drug tests typically screen for THC, and full-spectrum products contain trace amounts that can accumulate with regular use. Even broad-spectrum products carry some risk, since "non-detectable" isn't an absolute guarantee. If you're tested, the safest choice is to avoid hemp products altogether.
We can't make medical recommendations, and these products aren't intended for use during pregnancy or nursing. If you take medication or have a health condition, please talk with your doctor before using any hemp product.
Cannabinoids are generally well tolerated, but some people notice mild effects like drowsiness, dry mouth, or changes in appetite. Starting with a smaller serving helps you see how your body responds. If anything feels off, stop and consult a healthcare professional.
Shipping & returns
We ship across the continental U.S. where hemp products are legally permitted; some regions may be restricted. Orders typically leave our facility within 1–2 business days, and you'll get tracking once your order is on its way.
Yes. Orders arrive in plain, unbranded packaging with no indication of the contents on the outside. Your privacy is respected from cart to doorstep.
Because tinctures are consumable products, we generally can't accept returns once opened, for safety reasons. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us and we'll make it right; we stand behind every batch we ship.
